Hyungbo Shim received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Seoul National University, Korea, and held the post-doc position at University of California, Santa Barbara till 2001. He joined Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, in 2002. Since 2003, he has been with Seoul National University, Korea. He served as associate editor for Automatica, IEEE Trans. on Automatic Control, Int. Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control, and European Journal of Control, and as editor for Int. Journal of Control, Automation, and Systems. He was the Program Chair of ICCAS 2014 and Vice-program Chair of IFAC World Congress 2008. He was a guest professor at Keio University, Japan, in 2016, and he is now the director of Engineering Research Center for Advanced Control & Instrumentation, Korea. He received Young Researcher Award and Scientific Award from ICROS in 2009 and 2012, respectively. His research interest includes stability analysis of nonlinear systems, observer design, disturbance observer technique, secure control systems, and synchronization. Jin Gyu Lee received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Seoul National University, Korea, and held the post-doc position at University of Cambridge, United Kingdom till 2021. He held another post-doc position at Imperial College London, United Kingdom in 2022. He joined Inria, Lille, France, in 2022. Since 2024, he has been with Seoul National University. His research interests include multi-agent systems, observer design, secure control systems, nonlinear oscillators, distributed optimization, adaptive control, neuronal networks, and neuromorphic engineering.
