IEEE Conf. on Decision and Control has been held in Melbourne, Australia for Dec. 12~15, 2017. CDSL was invited to present our research on Security of Cyber-Physical Systems, and Jihan Kim delivered his work entitled “Enhancement of security against zero dynamics attack via generalized hold.” Co-authored by Juhoon Back, Chanhwa Lee, Gyunghoon Park, and Hyungbo Shim, this paper proposed the use of generalized holder in order to counteract the zero dynamics attack to the cyber-physical systems. This is an interesting idea in the sense that the zero dynamics attack remains undetectable but the role of generalized holder is to make the attack ineffective.
