Internal model principle and output regulation: 김홍근 교수 세미나

천안에 위치한 한국기술교육대학교의 김홍근 교수가 CDSL을 방문하여 “Internal model principle and output regulation”을 주제로 튜토리얼 세미나를 진행하였습니다.

Output regulation(이하 OR)은, “disturbance rejection and/or reference tracking”을 목적으로 하는 제어 기법입니다. OR 문제를 풀기 위해서는 Internal model principle에 대한 이해가 필수적입니다. 즉, anti-stable한 exosystem에 의하여 생성되는 외란 혹은 reference의 효과를 nullify하기 위해서는 exosystem의 model이 우리가 설계한 dynamic controller에 포함되어 있어야 합니다.

OR problem을 수학적으로 formulation하는 것으로부터 시작하여, OR problem이 solvable하기 위한 필요충분조건을 Internal model principle과 연결하여 제시하고, OR problem의 다양한 갈래를 다루었던 본 세미나는 약 세 시간에 걸쳐 진행되었습니다. Internal model principle을 가교 삼아 Synchronization problem과 OR problem을 통섭하여 이해하기 위해 여러 학생들이 참석하였습니다.
