The 1st SNU-DGIST-GIST Joint Workshop on Control Systems

In last September, the first joint workshop among Seoul National University (SNU), Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST), and Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) on control systems was held successfully. Including CDSL, students from Distributed Control and Autonomous Systems Laboratory of GIST and Dynamic Systems and Control Laboratory of DGIST participated and shared their results.

On the first day of the workshop, professor Yongsoon Eun delivered a presentation regarding the security of feedback control systems when the sensors are untrustworthy. On the next day, students from three laboratories introduced their research and shared feedbacks and questions. Among those students, Soojeong Hyun of CDSL presented her results on distributed orientation estimation with only locally measured positions, which can be utilized in formation control. In addition, Jeongwoo Kim of CDSL talked on how to utilize blended dynamics in discrete-time domain. Also, Donggil Lee of CDSL proposed a decentralized design of distributed controller for cooperative stabilization of LTI systems.

Finally, professor Hyungbo Shim uploaded a presentation video below on the design of heterogeneous multi-agent system for distributed computation and control. More information on this workshop can be found here.
